What the cut saves you on a tank
All three petrol grades dropped by the same 24 fils a litre, so the saving scales with the size of your tank:
- A 40-litre fill of Special 95 costs AED 161.60, against AED 171.20 in October — you keep AED 9.60.
- A 60-litre fill of Super 98 costs AED 249.60, against AED 264.00 — a saving of AED 14.40.
- A 70-litre diesel fill costs AED 332.50, against AED 336.00 — a saving of AED 3.50.
If you fill a mid-size tank twice a month on Special 95, that is close to AED 20 back in your pocket over November. Diesel drivers get far less relief: 5 fils a litre is a rounding error next to the 24 fils taken off petrol, and diesel stays the most expensive grade on the forecourt.
How UAE fuel prices November 2026 were set
Petrol and diesel have been deregulated in the UAE since 2015. A committee reviews rates once a month against movements in global fuel markets, announces the new figures towards the end of the month, and the prices take effect on the first day of the following month. That is why the pump price can move in either direction, and why it is worth checking before a long drive rather than assuming last month’s rate still applies.
This month’s cut follows increases in August, September and October. October was a particularly sharp month: all three petrol grades rose by roughly 16 per cent and diesel by about 12 per cent, so November’s drop gives back only part of that.
