Dubai has opened its first Work From Park location at Al Barsha Pond Park, letting residents swap a home desk or a paid cafe table for a seat in a public park. The outdoor desks are free and open to anyone, while an indoor co-working pass costs AED 50 for a full day. The site opened on Monday, 2 November 2026.

What the Work From Park site offers for free
The outdoor areas need no booking and cost nothing. You can use the desks placed around the buildings, sit under the pergola, or go up to the rooftops for a view across the pond. Power sockets and internet coverage have been installed outdoors as well, and a limited guest Wi-Fi network is free to use.
That makes it one of the few spots in Dubai where you can work outside all day without buying anything. Heat and shade are the obvious limits, and the municipality has said it is still looking at cooling systems and weatherproof furniture for the rooftops.
Indoor passes and prices
If you want air conditioning, a quiet room or a proper meeting space, the indoor buildings are paid.
| Space | Cost |
|---|---|
| Outdoor desks, rooftops and pergola seating | Free, no booking needed |
| Indoor co-working day pass | AED 50 per day, includes a coffee |
| Letswork member day pass | 10 membership credits |
| Meeting rooms and fixed-desk suites | Priced separately, book ahead |
The AED 50 pass covers the whole day rather than an hour, and includes a complimentary coffee. Existing Letswork members can use 10 credits instead of paying. Hourly meeting-room rates and monthly suite prices have been quoted in local media but have not been published officially, so confirm them when you book.
Opening hours and how to book
The indoor space is open from 8am to 8pm. Bookings go through the Letswork app, website or WhatsApp, and live availability is shown online. Walk-ins are accepted for the AED 50 indoor day pass, so you do not have to reserve ahead just to get a desk. The outdoor areas need no registration at all.
Inside, the facilities include a co-working area, two meeting rooms with audiovisual equipment, fixed-desk suites that come with lockers, USB-C charging points throughout, and a cafe and washroom block.
Getting there and what else is on site
Al Barsha Pond Park sits beside a mall with restaurants and coffee shops, and the park itself has a pond, a jogging track and a play area, which helps if you bring family along. If you are coming by Dubai Metro or bus, knowing how to top up your nol card online will save you time at the station.
More locations are planned
Dubai Municipality has said further Work From Park sites will be introduced in parks across the emirate during the year, though no park names or dates have been announced. Officials have said they are gathering visitor feedback at Al Barsha before choosing the next location, and have mentioned beaches as a possibility. Group AMANA built the units using modular construction, and Letswork runs daily operations.
If you want to try it, the outdoor desks cost nothing and need no planning, so you can just turn up. For an indoor desk, check live availability before you travel, and treat any meeting-room or monthly price quoted elsewhere as unconfirmed until the operator confirms it. Park details are published by Dubai Municipality, and the UAE government portal lists wider public services. If cooler weather suits you, the Dubai winter camping season has also just opened.
